Wildlife Management Forms for Property Owners
The Gillespie County Central Appraisal District requires that a new property owner begin their activities immediately after obtaining their property and before filing a wildlife management plan.
The Gillespie County Central Appraisal District requires that each property owner show that wildlife activities have taken place on their individual lot and that evidence of activities are apparent.
The first time you submit your wildlife management paperwork, you are required to complete the first two forms. In subsequent years, you are required to submit only the third form.
- Forms for First Year -
- These two forms advise the Appraiser of the wildlife management activities you intend to undertake on your property for the foreseeable future. These forms are only required in the first year, although if you decide to change your wildlife management activities significantly, it's best to submit a new plan.
- Form for Subsequent Years -
- 1-D-1 Open Space Agricultural Valuation
Wildlife Management Annual Report
- This report is submitted in all subsequent years. It advises the Appraiser of the wildlife management activities you have completed for the year, and it should align with the activities listed in your management plan. The Appraiser is looking to see that you are fulfilling the intentions described in your management plan.
- Note: The two 1-D-1 forms are virtually identical; however, each form is titled differently and has a different reference number at the bottom of the form. Check the headings at the top - one is a management plan, form PWD 885-W7000 and the other is an annual report, form PWD 888-W7000.
